Jean-François Legrigore is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the fiduciary and corporate services industry in Mauritius. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in structuring, administering, and advising international clients across diverse sectors.
Before leading Etika Financial Services Ltd, Jean-François held senior leadership roles at a top-tier management company, where he built a reputation as a trusted advisor known for his integrity, client dedication, and in-depth operational and regulatory knowledge.
Jean-François leads Etika with a clear vision — to provide agile, high-quality fiduciary services built on strong ethics and client relationships. His hands-on approach and unwavering professionalism are reflected in the company’s values and service promise.
Shabneez Bissessur
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND HEAD OF FINANCE
Shabneez is a finance professional with 15 years of experience in accounting, leadership, and financial operations, She is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK, and registered with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA). She currently leads the finance function as Executive Director and Head of Finance at Etika Financial Services Ltd, serving international clients.
Shabneez has a proven track record in streamlining processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting. Highly analytical and detail-oriented, Shabneez has developed expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Shabneez also possesses strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellence.
Nicolas Richard

Nicolas Richard’s practice covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law, with particular focus on banking and finance, capital markets, aircraft and shipping financing, and real estate. He regularly advises both local and international clients on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and related regulatory issues.
His experience includes private share and business acquisitions, private equity, group reorganisations, and joint ventures. He advises leading international banks and multinational companies on financing and investment structures involving global business companies.Nicolas has been involved in the global business sector for more than 15 years and has already been involved in the setting up and management of a management company.
Nicolas Richard was admitted to the Mauritius Law Society in 2005. He is today among the highly regarded lawyers of Mauritius as per IFLR1000, a guide to the world’s leading financial law firms. His expertise is acknowledged not only on the international/cross-border platform, but also on the local/domestic scene. Nicolas sits on the board of several domestic and global business companies and also undertakes pro-bono legal services for NGOs such as the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation or the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
